Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some beautiful room decorations, but my experience was disappointing overall. The room looked much larger in the photos, and I got scalded in the shower due to the lack of thermostat control. The room was too small for two people, lacked proper ventilation, and had an unpleasant smell. The spa bath use late at night was disruptive to my sleep.
My stay at the hotel had highs and lows. The room was disappointing in size and shower control, but had a great view. The service was friendly, though slightly preoccupied at times. The location was isolated, which I loved, but lacking in facilities. Dining was lovely overall. The hotel facilities were decent.
The hotel rooms were small with no view, but apart from the lack of adequate hooks/rails for all wet towels in the bathroom. The service was fantastic with so much effort put into our lovely day and a very friendly atmosphere. The isolated location was lovely, exposed to the estuary of history, and we enjoyed drinks there several times at a very good price. The B&B dining experience was delicious with very good quality produce. As for facilities, they were accommodating, and pet amenities were available upon request.
